SEA LIMITED PLANS MONEE STOCK MARKET LISTING AS SINGAPORE TECH GIANT PREPARES NEW AI PLATFORM SEA CLOUD
Singapore technology group Sea Limited is preparing to list its financial services division Monee on the stock market, according to an internal memorandum from founder and chief executive Forrest Li reviewed by Reuters. Monee provides payments, digital wallets, lending and banking services across eight markets in Asia and Brazil, while its loan book and revenue have expanded rapidly. Sea has not announced a listing venue, valuation or IPO date, but Li said a public offering could provide Monee with additional resources to accelerate expansion. Sea also plans to launch Sea Cloud, a new AI-first enterprise platform, as the group broadens beyond its established Shopee, Garena and Monee businesses. Reuters
