METHANOL AND CANNABIS FOUND IN ONDO DRINKS LINKED TO 48 DEATHS NAFDAC SAYS
NAFDAC says preliminary laboratory tests detected high concentrations of methanol and Cannabis indica in locally prepared alcoholic and herbal drinks linked to 48 deaths in Ondo State. The agency says 182 cases have been recorded, seven people have suffered total or partial blindness and 15 people have been arrested as investigations continue.
