The visit is part of activities to promote her recently- released self-titled sophomore album. Consisting 12 songs, the CD was released to widespread praise on September 8, and was led with the singles “Smile for Me” and “Joromi”.
Signed to X3M Music, Simi released her debut album “Ogaju” in 2008. She is also joint- author of the “Chemistry” EP with rapper and frequent collaborator Falz.
Simi’s trip is widely anticipated as she has, over the years, captured the hearts of many Ghanaians with the soothing tone of her voice, and her deeply relatable songwriting.
