The marital back and forth between Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh and ex-husband Mr. Olakunle Churchill which seem to have been off the table of discussion after bride price was returned to Churchill’s family is taking another dramatic turn as ex-husband filed a lawsuit to halt the release of Tonto’s reality Television show “King Tonto”.
The planned release and hopes of soon seeing the Linda Ikeji Media produced reality Television show on air has been dashed, as the ex-husband of Tonto Dikeh filed a lawsuit at the family court of the Lagos State Magistrate court to halt the release and airing of the show.
This is due to the featuring of his son King Andrea in the yet to be aired reality TV show as he feels the featuring of his son is against the right of his infant child.
Ex-Husband Churchill’s lawsuit got an injunction placed on the release of the reality show and that is not too good for the producers of the movie as they are left with slim chances to redeem their investment; either to reproduce without King Andrea, amicably talk ex-husband Olakunle out of it or battle it out in court.
We await to see how Tonto and Linda will resolve this impasse to make way for the release and airing of the much anticipated “King Tonto”.
