Every year, on the 3rd Thursday of November, 26,000 pladis employees or `pladisians` as we like to call them go out and make efforts to bring happiness to others. In partnership with the Victoria Michaels Foundation, pladis greeted 600 children ranging from kindergarten to junior high school with exercise books, mathematical sets, pens, pencils, crayons and McVities products and celebrated Make Happy Be Happy Day together with children and volunteers.
Last year, the company had a similar collaboration with the Osu Children’s Home.
The Victoria Michaels Foundation offers humanitarian aids and social development programs to rural communities in Africa.
The Foundation seeks to provide hope to deprived persons by focusing on three major areas: – Education, Women/Girl Child Development and Youth Empowerment.
